Andrew believes in correct training with the welfare of the horse his main priority. His training process is based on pressure and release and by using this he can get your horse to switch from his sympathetic nervous system, which is his instinctive, emotional and juvenile part of his brain to his para-sympathetic nervous system which is his calm, co-operative and learning part of his brain. He will train your horse to switch from a state of worry and stress (which is normal for a flight animal) to come back to a place of calm.
Our goal is for you to have a happy fun time with your horse as you begin to achieve your goals.
Our schooling livery includes our full livery package of care for your horse in our light, airy stables where your horse can benefit from the friendly, calm atmosphere of our yard coupled with one to one schooling and training 5 days per week with Andrew who will keep you up to date with your horse’s progress.

Schooling or flatwork comprises taking a horse through the scales of training – of rhythm, suppleness, contact, impulsion, straightness and collection – to the ultimate of having a truly athletic horse which is thoroughly balanced and coordinated.
